Privacy requests
Most changes to your own details you make yourself, in the app. A copy of your data, or its erasure, is asked for by email and handled by a person.
The short answer
Write to support@datatactical.group to ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, or for it to be erased. A person handles each request, as the Privacy Policy describes. Before acting, Data Tactical Group confirms the request comes from you by writing to the address on the account with a six-digit code for you to send back.
What you can do yourself
- Your name. Change it under Your account → Profile.
- Your email address. Change it in the app through the verified flow on account security.
- Product news. Untick “Send me release notes and product news” under Your account, or use the unsubscribe link in any such email. Messages about your account, billing and security still come.
- Closing your account. Done in the app; see closing an account.
A copy of your data
A copy is sent as a set of CSV files, zipped. It covers your account and its sign-in history, your memberships, your API keys (by prefix only, never the key), any trial, your notifications, up to thirteen months of your usage, invitations and join requests, ownership claims, support requests, saved workspaces, your own actions in the audit trail and the documents you accepted. Actions Data Tactical Group staff took on your account appear as “DTG staff”. No password hash and no two-factor secret is ever included.
Erasure
Erasure closes your account, as described on closing an account, and also deletes your invitations, saved workspaces, support requests and device records. Some records stay, for the reasons the Privacy Policy gives: the audit trail is append-only and kept for its stated period; an organization’s own records stay with the organization; billing records stay with an organization that is still active; and backups age out on their own schedule.
Cookies and browser storage
The website sets no cookies. The app sets only the cookies it needs to work: your session, two-factor and trusted-browser settings, and those the payment form and the bot check use. It also keeps some working settings in the browser’s own storage. There is no cookie banner because nothing optional is set.
