The free tier
A free account shows the nation and every state at full industry and occupation depth, quarterly, in the current vintage, in the app. County detail, export and the API are paid.
The short answer
Free includes every state and the District of Columbia, and the nation, by industry at every level down to 6-digit industries and by occupation at every level down to detailed occupations, quarterly and annual, from 2004 through the projection horizon, in the current vintage. It includes the charts, area clusters and location quotient. It has 1 seat. It never expires.
It does not include county figures, file export, API keys or prior vintages.
The detail
Counties appear in the areas picker greyed out, with the reason, rather than hidden: you can see what is there and what a plan adds. Prior vintages appear in the vintage menu marked Paid plans only. The export buttons are present and say what would enable them.
The 7-day county trial adds one county of your choice to a free account, with every data feature except API keys and with no card. Each person has one; see the county trial.
If you belong to a paid organization but no seat is free for you, you are a free member there: you see what Free shows, and an admin can seat you.
