The county trial
One county of your choice, for 7 days, with every data feature the paid product has for that county except API keys. No card. One per person.
The short answer
The trial is not a plan: it is something a Free account can switch on once. Start it from inside the app with Try one county free, pick a county, and confirm. For 7 days that county has full code depth, quarterly figures, prior vintages, clusters, charts and file export without limit. The one exclusion is API keys. When the days are up the county leaves your organization and the free account carries on as before.
Starting it
You need a verified email address, and the trial runs in your own organization, the one created when you signed up, not in one you only belong to. The entry points are Try one county free in the explorer and on the Counties screen, Start a 7-day trial where file export is offered, and Start a trial in Compare plans. The trial screen asks you to pick one county; only counties are listed. Confirm with Start the 7-day trial of the county you picked.
While it runs
The trial screen says when the county is active until. Exports of the trial county are uncapped and use no points; to export, select that county alone. Anything outside the county follows Free. You can end the trial early with End the trial now…; the county leaves at once and the trial counts as used.
When it ends
On day 8 the county is removed from your organization and county detail for it stops. Your saved clusters and settings are kept. An email tells you the trial has ended, and the nation and every state stay open on the free plan.
Buying a plan
If you buy a plan while the trial is running, the trial county stays and becomes one of the plan’s counties. A county removed when a trial ended is not put back by buying a plan later; add it again on the Counties screen.
One trial per person
Each person has one trial. A closed account opened again with the same address does not get another.
